Once validated as a News1130 Insider Club member, all you need to do is enter your username and password to gain access to News1130 Insider Club features. You will be able to update your registration information as needed, as well as change your password. Profile updates and password changes have no effect on your Credits account. Your Credit balances will always remain tied to your username.

The accumulation of Credits gives you opportunities to win your share of the hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes, cash, and discounts offered throughout the year on News1130. There are many ways for you to earn Credits, as outlined below.

Just for signing up you'll automatically receive 500 credits.

Insider of the Day
Each weekday, Monday through Friday at 7:10 a.m., 12:10 p.m., 5:10 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. News1130 will announce the name of the News1130 Insider of the Day.
Visit News1130 Insider Club at www.news1130.com, login to News1130 Insider Club - go to "Earn Credits" and click on "Insider of the Day". Pick the name of the News1130 "Insider of the Day" as announced at these times, then click on submit. Every time you're correct you'll earn other 250 Credits.
You have until midnight that night to play Insider of the Day to earn Credits. (Note you can only enter once per day)

News1130 Insider Club Questionnaire
Occasionally News1130 will ask you to fill out a questionnaire. The questionnaire might ask you about the station and how we can improve our product. If you fill it out, you'll be given Credits.

From time to time, News1130 will announce special events or display them on the News1130 Insider Club Web site where News1130 will give away Bonus Codes for Credits. Logon to the News1130 Insider Club site and go to the Bonus Code Event section to see how and where you can earn more Credits.
Once you have a News1130 Insider Club Bonus Code - visit http://www.news1130.com, login to News1130 Insider Club - go to "Earn Credits" and click on "Bonus Code." Enter the Bonus Code to earn more Credits.

News1130 will occasionally post Bonus Codes on various station advertise pages throughout our Web site at http://www.news1130.com/. When you visit these sites you will be given News1130 Insider Club Bonus Codes for a specified number of Credits.
Credit Balance
As a News1130 Insider Club member, your News1130 Insider Club Credits earned accumulate in your Credits Account. To check your current balance of News1130 Insider Club Credits, login to News1130 Insider Club and click on "My Account."

Here's how you can use them towards prizes, cash, discounts, opportunities and adventures.

Prize Purchase
Use your Credits to purchase an item, simply enter the quantity you wish to purchase and click "Buy." If you have sufficient Credits and haven't already bought your limit (if any), your purchase will be confirmed and a confirmation page will appear with instructions on how to claim your prize or discount. Once you click the "Buy" button, if the transaction is successful, the Credit amount will be deducted from your News1130 Insider Club Account and cannot be returned.

Weather Guarantee
To enter the Weather Guarantee simply redeem your points. One entry will cost 250 Credits. Enter as often as you like. However, remember all entries will be cleared out after each draw.

Every week News1130 will offer wonderful prizes. Just check to see how many Credits each requires. You can enter as often as you like.

News1130 Marketplace
Periodically, News1130 will offer prizes that can be purchased with Credits. This might include a signed CD or dinner certificates. Normally these are very limited in supply.
