Do I have to be listening to win?
No, but you should be listening to earn as many points as you can!
How do I claim my prize? Will you send it to me?
To claim your prize, follow the instructions on the confirmation page. All prizes must be claimed in person at 2440 Ash St. Vancouver , BC V5Z 4J6. NO prizes will be mailed.
How do I earn Credits?
Enter your username and password in the login box, then click "Login". Once you've logged in, click on one of the categories under Earn Credits, located on the menu bar near the top of the page.
How do I know if I won?
We will notify all winners of contests by phone and/or email.
How do I use News1130 Marketplace?
All prizes on the News1130 Marketplace page are on a first come, first serve basis. The News1130 Insider Club News1130 Marketplace Page lists all of the available prizes and their associated Credit value. Once you have earned enough Credits to "purchase" the prize of your choice you may "buy" the prize by logging in and visiting the News1130 Marketplace Page. Then just enter the quantity of the prize you want (please note, some prizes may have a quantity limit of 1 per member), and click "Buy". If you have enough Credits, haven't exceeded the purchase limit, and inventory is sufficient, a page will come up which confirms your purchase and provides you with instructions on how to claim your prize. IMPORTANT NOTE: upon making a prize purchase, be sure to print off a copy of your confirmation page.
How do I use Contests?
You can enter any of our Contests as many times as you wish (as long as you have enough Credits). To purchase an entry into the Contests of your choice, please visit the Upcoming Contests page, click on the drawing you'd like to enter, select the number of entries you'd like to purchase, and click the "Purchase Entries" button. Remember, the more entries you have, the better your chances of winning!
How do I use my Credits to earn Rewards?
There are two ways to earn rewards with your Credits. You can redeem Credits for goods and services that are offered on the News1130 Marketplace page or you can redeem Credits for entries into our Contests Drawings. To access either the News1130 Marketplace or Contests page, log in and click on one of the categories under Spend Credits, located on the menu bar near the top of the page.
What do I need to play the News1130 Insider Club?
The News1130 Insider Club will run on any modern web browser (FireFox, Opera, Safari, or Internet Explorer). You will also need Internet access.
What should I do if I'm having trouble logging into my account?
If you're having trouble logging into your account, please try the following solutions:/
Make sure you are using the correct username and password. If you don't remember your username and/or password, click here, enter your email address, and we'll email it to you.
Clear your cache. Cache is a process that keeps track of what you have been doing recently. It saves you processing time when you repeat tasks; but sometimes it gets overloaded.
Internet Explorer users:
Check your security settings. Your internet security settings must be set to "medium".
Check your privacy settings. Your internet privacy settings must be set to "medium".
You may have to add us to your trusted sites.
What is the difference between Insider of the Day and Bonus Code ?
The Insider of the Day is given out at various times. Your have until 11:59pm of the day it is given out to enter it.
A Bonus Code is given out through e-mails, special giveaways and events. Please check when receiving a bonus code to see if there is an expiration date.
Where do you list the winners?
Due to the potential for fraud, we will not list winners on the website.
Why didn't I receive the newsletter?
Newsletters are e-mailed to everybody who has opted in. If you can't find it in your inbox, check your junk/spam/bulk mail folder. You can add email@example.com to your contacts to ensure continued receipt of our e-mails. We also post the latest newsletter on the welcome page which appears after you login.
Why does it say I already entered the Bonus Code ?
If you click the Submit button twice (double click), the system may accept both clicks; you're seeing the message for the second click. Check your transactions to ensure you were successful.
Why isn't Insider of the Day changing?
The Insider of the Day only changes on weekdays. If it is a weekday, then your computer is not getting the latest version of our webpage.

Why does my account status say "pending"?
After you register, your account status will remain "pending" until your email address is verified. Your email address is verified and your account validated once you click on the link in the email you receive from us. (This email will come from firstname.lastname@example.org.) You can still earn Credits while you are waiting for your account to be validated. You will not, however, be able to claim any prizes or purchase raffle entries until your account status is valid. I did not receive an email asking me to validate my account. What should I do? If you did not receive an email from us and your account is still pending, please follow these instructions:
