THE FAN Club
1. Participation To participate in THE FAN Club visit http://www.fan590.com/ and sign up as a FAN Club member. Limit one user account per person. Once signed up as a FAN Club member you can earn FAN Points by visiting THE FAN 590 website, logging into THE FAN Club and doing any of the following: 1. Play Secret Seats, Bonus Codes, Instant Win Codes: Listen to THE FAN 590 for announcements throughout the day at various times. Secret Seats will change daily, Monday through Friday. Secret Seat numbers will not air during Play By Play on THE FAN 590. Members must enter the Secret Seat number of the day before 11:59 pm the same day it is announced. Any other Bonus Codes or instant wins will be announced on-air or posted on the website with details on how to play.
2. Play other games. At various times during the day, other FAN Club Codes, words, or names may be announced or posted on the site. These must also be entered on line before a designated time that will be posted on the site or announced on-air.
3. Listen to The FAN 590 and log on to http://www.fan590.com/ for dates and locations of FAN 590 events where members can pick up FAN Club Bonus Codes.
4. FAN Club FAN Points may also be earned in a variety of other ways, at the discretion of THE FAN 590. Members can tune into THE FAN 590 for details on additional ways to accumulate FAN Points, or log onto THE FAN Club at http://www.fan590.com/. THE FAN 590 reserves the right to alter the ways of earning FAN Points at its discretion. To become and remain a registered FAN Club member, you must have Internet access and a valid email account. THE FAN 590 is not responsible for a member's inability to: connect to the internet, log into THE FAN Club website, gain access to their FAN Club account or participate in any activity associated with this program, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches. FAN Club membership is free and no purchase is necessary. 2. Eligibility Participation in THE FAN Club is open to all residents of Toronto and the GTA, 18 years and older. Those specifically not eligible are full or part-time employees of THE FAN 590 or Rogers Broadcasting Ltd. (including former employees and their next of kin), other Toronto radio station employees and their immediate families, M2O Media, and sponsors featured in the Program. 1. Participation is expressly limited to one account per person. FAN Points are non-transferable and may not be earned in advance. All duplicate accounts or suspected duplicate accounts are subject to cancellation without notification by THE FAN 590.
2. Email addresses may not be shared between players; therefore, each account needs to have a unique, valid email address associated with it.
3. Accounts which have an excessive number of rejected emails may be automatically locked, preventing the player from accessing THE FAN Club until they contact THE FAN Club Tech Support and provide an alternate email address. Repeated problems with email delivery to a player may result in permanent suspension of the member's account.
Members are not authorized to access any other member’s account, including entering codes or redeeming THE FAN Club FAN Points for prizes or awards, even if the other member is a family member. Members need to enter codes and play the various FAN Club games and surveys themselves to legally accumulate FAN Points.
4. No machines, scripts or automated services may be used to access any part of THE FAN Club website, accumulate any FAN Points, bid on prizes and awards, or in any other way participate in this program. Over usage of THE FAN Club system resources is not permitted, and are grounds for account suspension or termination at the sole discretion of THE FAN 590.
5. THE FAN 590 is NOT responsible for members missing out on FAN Points due to, but not limited to, the following: forgotten username and/or password; problems, updates or maintenance which affects THE FAN Club at a particular time; internet, browser, server, or computer problems in general; lost codes or coupons; forgotten, incorrectly entered or misspelled codes, etc.
6. Any FAN Points redemption suspected to be an inauthentic copy, or which is made in such a fashion as to not deduct the appropriate FAN Points amounts, may be disqualified (not accepted), at the sole discretion of THE FAN 590.
7. The authorized account holder or member is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible by assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
8. THE FAN 590 reserves the right to disqualify any member from receiving a cash or prize award where THE FAN 590, at its sole discretion, determines that the member has violated any of these rules, made any misrepresentation in connection with this program, or used any unintended/unannounced means to accumulate or redeem FAN Club FAN Points.
9. Sharing of Secret Seat numbers, Bonus Codes, or other FAN Club FAN Points earning among members is expressly prohibited. Violations will result in the termination of all violating account(s) and/or forfeiture of all accumulated FAN Points.
10. THE FAN 590 reserves the right to use any listener feedback in any way they choose. 3. Prize Awards Each item on the Free Stuff or Draws pages will be assigned a FAN Point value. Members may redeem accumulated FAN Club FAN Points for free prizes and awards. 1. All prizes must be picked up at Rogers Video, 333 Bloor Street E. (corner of Bloor and Jarvis) in Toronto unless otherwise specified upon FAN Point redemption. Please allow two business days for your prize to be processed before picking up your item. Rogers Video Store Hours are Monday 9:00am - 9:00pm, Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00am - 9:00pm, Sunday from 12:00pm - 6:00pm and closed on all holidays. If you win a prize (pertains to FAN Club raffles and not THE FAN Club store) valued at less than $250, you can not win again for another 30 days. If you win a prize valued at $250 or more, you can not win again for 6 months. If you win a trip that involves transportation and/or accommodations, you can not win again for 1 year.
2. When picking up your prize, you must provide a legal, valid government issued photo ID. The address on your ID must match that of your FAN Club membership. Prizes must be picked-up within 30 business days of purchase unless otherwise specified. Prizes not picked up within 30 business days from the date of purchase will be forfeited and FAN Points will not be refunded. Members are not permitted to send a third party on his/her behalf to claim prizing.
3. Member is always responsible to keep his/her FAN Club account up-to-date with current information. If THE FAN 590 deems that an individual has extreme circumstances and a prize is mailed out, THE FAN 590 is not responsible if it is lost, stolen, misdirected, or damaged. The prize will not be replaced with future prizes nor will FAN Points be refunded.
4. Prize winners are responsible for any and all expenses associated with their travel to and from Rogers Video, THE FAN 590 offices or other any location(s) associated with claiming a prize or award.
5. FAN Club FAN Points will not be credited or refunded for any reward, item or certificate which a Member claims but does not subsequently use.
6. Member agrees to provide only true and accurate information to THE FAN Club at all times. In conjunction with claiming any item associated with THE FAN Club or spending any FAN Points for items, Member agrees to verify that all information in their FAN Club account profile is up-to-date and accurate by providing a valid driver's license or government issued photo ID that substantially matches the information in their profile.
FAN Club Award items are not transferable. Awards may not be substituted for cash or any other items or merchandise.
7. All Award claims are subject to verification by THE FAN 590 management. All decisions made by THE FAN 590 management are final.
8. Prizes and awards will be awarded and distributed at the discretion of THE FAN 590. 9.By participating in THE FAN Club, each contest winner or qualifier consents to the use of his/her entry, name, address and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Rogers Broadcasting Limited and/or its advertising agencies, without further compensation. Winners consent to their photograph being taken by Rogers for such use, without further compensation. All entries become the property of Rogers. 4. How to Redeem FAN Points / Entries to Receive Prizes A validated FAN Club Member redeems FAN Club FAN Points by clicking on the "Submit" button for Free Stuff or for Draw entries on THE FAN Club website. In the event that another member is already in the process of redeeming that particular prize/item, the member who "first" clicked on "Submit" will receive the item/prize. In order to receive a prize or reward, winning members must contact THE FAN 590 in accordance with instructions provided as part of this program, or provided online in connection with a specific offering, AND comply with the instructions provided by THE FAN 590 personnel for verification and deduction of FAN Points balances. Failure to comply with the instructions may result in disqualification, at the sole discretion of THE FAN 590. Any member that has a "winning" bid, and then fails to demonstrate they have the needed FAN Points in their account following an audit, will not be entitled to receive the award or prize and, at the discretion of THE FAN 590, will have their FAN Points balance forfeited. Member FAN Point totals are subject to adjustment, and member accounts are subject to suspension or cancellation, by THE FAN 590 for any activity which is in violation of any rules, or which is not in compliance with the intent of the program. THE FAN 590 shall be the sole determiner in cases of suspected abuse or violation of FAN Club rules, and any decision it makes relating to adjustment of FAN Points or termination of membership shall be final and binding. Members will be notified of any such adjustments through a posting in the history log (viewable in the Transactions section of My Account in THE FAN Club) or through an email sent to the email address in the member's account profile. Should the member disagree with any FAN Points adjustment or account suspension, the decision of THE FAN is final and the remedy may involve Member withdrawal from the program. THE FAN 590 makes no representations whatsoever regarding the value, if any, of FAN Points earned as a result of participation. THE FAN 590 is under no obligation to provide members with any particular number of FAN Points earning opportunities or rewards. 5. Conditions 1. Members may be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of an item. Pursuant to the liability release, Member will agree to hold M2O Media, THE FAN 590, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in THE FAN Club.
2. THE FAN 590, in it sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of THE FAN 590 websites, or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify THE FAN Club if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
3. THE FAN 590 reserves the right to make changes in the rules of THE FAN Club. Notice of any revisions will be posted to this page, so please revisit this page from time to time to ensure that you are aware of any changes to it. You are responsible for reviewing this Policy periodically, and your continued use of THE FAN Club website(s) following any modifications to the rules will be conclusively deemed acceptance of any changes.
4. THE FAN 590 reserves the right to substitute an item of equivalent or greater value should an original item awarded to or purchased by a player become unavailable. FAN Point values associated with any award can be changed or modified at any time. All Awards offered will show quantity available and will be redeemed on a first-come, first-served basis. THE FAN 590 reserves the right to limit the quantity a member can buy of any specific Award.
5. THE FAN 590 reserves the right to disqualify any member from receiving a cash or prize award, where THE FAN 590, at its sole discretion, determines that the player has misrepresented or used unintended / unannounced means to accumulate FAN Points or purchase prizes.
6. Members may be asked to supply personal information. This information will not be sold to outsiders, but the aggregate information (without identifying players as individuals) will be used for marketing purposes by THE FAN 590 and its affiliates in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at http://www.rogers.com/.
7. THE FAN 590 reserves the right to discontinue, suspend or modify this Program at any time, including the termination of all opportunities to use or otherwise redeem accumulated FAN Club FAN Points. From time to time THE FAN 590 may decrease or zero out FAN Points in all THE FAN Club accounts. At those times all accounts will either start at zero FAN Points or be decreased by an amount or percentage to be determined by THE FAN 590 and all unused FAN Points will no longer be valid. Members will be notified if and when FAN Point deduction will take place.
8. No purchase is necessary. THE FAN Club is void where prohibited.
9. Failure to comply with FAN Club rules may result in a player's disqualification at the sole discretion of THE FAN 590.
10. A written copy of THE FAN Club rules is available during regular business hours at THE FAN 590 offices or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to: THE FAN Club, 777 Jarvis St., Toronto, Ontario, M4Y 3B7. [1] Household is defined as a separate, self contained residence which has a unique municipal address. Proof may be required to ensure compliance with this rule. Contest Sponsor in its sole discretion will determine whether a household meets this condition. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PORTER AIRLINES PAIR A DAY 1 a) “Contest Period” starts at 6am on November 23, 2009 up until 9:00am on November 27, 2009 the “Contest Closing Date.” To enter you must listen to THE FAN 590 for the Pair a Day Password from 6-9am weekday mornings during the contest period. Once you have collected the password wait for the Pair a Day ticket window to open, call in with the correct password. Successful callers who state the correct Pair a Day Password will win two airline tickets to anywhere Porter Airlines flies. The winner will be announced each weekday during the contest period during the Big Early Morning Show
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
2a.) No compensation or alternative will be offered if for any reason the selected entrant is unable to redeem the airline tickets before their expiration date.

Costs and expenses incurred by the winner and/or his/her guests in claiming or using the prize and which are not outlined in this prize description are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner and his/her guests and may include applicable taxes, transportation, meals and beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, local and long distance telephone calls, and all personal expenses of any kind or nature.
A valid Canadian Passport is required for all travel into the United States, no exceptions can be made. Should the “winner” be unable to provide proof of the necessary travel documentation the winner shall forfeit the prize. b.)Prize has no cash value, and it must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or convertible to cash, and it may not be sold, traded or transferred. Should the winner refuse a prize, THE FAN 590 and their respective advertising and promotional agencies are released from any obligation related to the prize. The Contest Sponsor: Porter Airlines and THE FAN 590 retains the right in their absolute discretion to make substitutions of equivalent kind or value in the event of the unavailability of any element of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
Before being awarded a Prize, potential winner and each potential winner’s companion, as applicable, will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the Contest Sponsor, a full release and indemnity form stating that he/she has read and understood these official rules and regulations (“Rules”), grants all consents required, authorizes the Contest Sponsor to broadcast, publish and disseminate his/her name, city of residence, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner and/or traveling companion, beyond the awarding of or participation in the Prize, accepts the Prize as offered and releases the Contest Sponsor from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner’s and each potential winner’s companion, as applicable, participation in this Contest and receipt and use of the Prize.

Grand prize may only be accepted by the person who qualified to win, except at the sole discretion of THE FAN 590 who reserves the right to substitute a prize of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize. 4. In order to win, the selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill testing question, posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time. Rogers judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the Contest and the awarding of prizes. 5. The selected entrants will be required to return a signed release and acknowledgment form before being declared winners. The companion may also be required to sign a release and acknowledgement form. 6. 12. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment and cancellation by Rogers without notice. Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the Contest.
13. The terms of this Contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.

The contest period commences on October 5, 2009 at 6:00 a.m. The contest closes on April 2, 2010 at 9:01 am.
PRIZE: There are fifteen (15) pairs of tickets available to be won (1 prize per draw). Each prize package consists of two (2) Platinum tickets to a Saturday night Toronto’ Leafs’ home game at the Air Canada Centre sometime during the 2009-2010 regular season game. The Contest Sponsors are not responsible for any scheduling changes that may effect game dates.
