(a) “Contest Period “ starts at 7:30am on October 16th 2009 up until 5:10pm on November 12, 2009, the “Contest Closing Date” to enter, visit www.92.citifm.ca log onto your Access VIP account and redeem 100 All Access VIP points, to be submitted by the Contest Closing Date. if you are not a member of the All Access VIP Club, join for free by fully completing the sign up information and redeeming 100 All Access VIP points by the Contest Closing Date. This Contest is sponsored by Rogers, as represented by 92 CITI FM, “92 CITI FM”.
Ballots can be obtained by sending a postage paid, self addressed envelope bearing sufficient postage, to "Tom & Joe World Tour Contest", 4-166 Osborne Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 1Y8. Then listen weekdays at 8:20 am, 3:20 pm & 5:20 pm for your name, during the Contest Period. If you hear your name, you have 10 minutes to call 780-CITI (780-2484) to be entered to win the Tom & Joe World Tour.
If you call back within the allocated time, you be deemed as a “Finalist” and to be entered for the Grand Prize Draw. Non selected entries will be carried forward. Callers will have 5 seconds to respond once the call is answered. If the telephone line is dead when answered by 92 CITI FM, or no audible response is heard, or no one responds after 5 seconds, l answer the next call in sequence and the next call in sequence will replace that call. In the event a call is cut off before all personal data is collected, 92 CITI FM will make its best efforts to make contact with the cut off caller provided enough personal information was gathered in order to correctly identify the cut off caller. In the event two or more calls come through on the same line, all such callers will be advised to hang up and try again and the next call in sequence and the next call in sequence will replace that call. (b) A random draw, by Rogers representative, from all will be made on November 13th, 2009 at approx. 7:20 AM CST (time subject to change) with Tom & Joe in the Morning at Rogers' office at 4-166 Osborne Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 1Y8.
The selected entrant for the Grand Prize will be contacted at all telephone numbers as indicated on the members account or mail in entry.
(c) If a selected entrant cannot be reached by November 13th, 2009 or declines the prize, another entrant will be selected on November 13th, 2009.
(d) In the event that a selected entrant incorrectly answers the skill testing question, fails to return the signed release and acknowledgment as specified below, another entrant will be selected on November 20th, 2009.
(e) You may enter as many times as you like as long as you redeem 100 All Access VIP points per entry. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).
2. No purchase, expenditure or investment is necessary to enter this Contest.
3. Participants will be eligible to win one (1) trip for two (2) to the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Games with a value of $20,000 CAD and which consists of round-trip coach airfare for two (2) from Winnipeg to Vancouver, first-class accommodations for five (5) days/ four (4) nights in a Deluxe Furnished Condo in Vancouver, two (2) tickets to both the Men’s Bronze and Gold Ice Hockey Final games on February 27th & 28th in Vancouver, round-trip airport transportation via private sedan in event city, including gratuity, dinner for two (2) at a top local cuisine restaurant, two (2) Official Souvenir Olympic T-shirts and complimentary event transportation for ticket holders provided by the city of Vancouver and 24/7 traveller by Dynamic Events. Travel dates: February 25-March 1, 2010. No other dates are available.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be converted to cash. Winner/ traveling companion are responsible for any and all charges above and beyond what is offered in their package including, but not limited to, gratuities, spending money, incidental expenses, meals, applicable taxes, transportation while in event city and optional travel insurance etc. We recommend the purchase of medical, accident and baggage insurance. It is the responsibility of the prize winner and traveling companions to obtain and pay for the required identification documents (i.e. passports, visas) for their entry into the visiting country and re-entry into Canada prior to departure. Failing to provide the required documents may result in denied boarding by the air carrier/and or entry by immigration authorities to the visiting country or re-entry into Canada. Rogers is not responsible in this respect and any unused portion of the trip prize will be forfeit. It is the prize winner’s responsibility to check with the airline for baggage restrictions. Winner and traveling companions must travel together on the same itinerary. Rogers reserves the right to change the air/hotel for whatever reason in the case of unavailability.
No responsibility is assumed by Rogers for any other factor beyond its reasonable control, or for a cancelled, delayed, or re-scheduled concert/event for any reason whatsoever. Rogers is not responsible in the event winner and/or guests are refused entry to the concert venue for whatever reason and any unused portion of the prize will be forfeited.
4. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Rogers reserves the right to substitute a prize of at least equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.
5. In order to win, selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill testing question, posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time. Rogers judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the Contest and the awarding of prizes.
6. Entrants will be required to return a signed release and acknowledgment form before being declared a winner. Traveling companion must sign a release of liability before being ticketed.
7. 92 CITI FM is not responsible for packages/ tickets that are lost, misdirected or delayed for any reason whatsoever, in association with this Contest.
8. By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, and city of residence and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Rogers and/or its advertising agencies, without further compensation. Winners consent to their photograph being taken by Rogers for such use, without further compensation. All entries become the property of Rogers.
9. This Contest is open to residents of Manitoba who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry, except employees of Rogers, Valu-Lots, Rondex its parent and affiliate companies; its representatives and agents, the Contest suppliers and those with whom they are domiciled. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
10. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrant.
11. Chances of winning the Grand Prize are a maximum of 1 in 59. Rogers is unaware of how many entrants there may be in the final draw. The winner may come from any geographic area, so long as they otherwise qualify to enter the Contest.
12. All entries which are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Rogers. Rogers takes no responsibility for lost, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.
All entries become property of Rogers who assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the website during the Contest Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion; to cancel or suspend the email portion of this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Rogers corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Rogers reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
