Welcome to The Gold Mine: a free on air/web based interactive promotional program designed to honour and reward our loyal Mountain FM listeners.

The more you listen to Mountain FM, the more Points you earn to get more prizes!  Yes, that Easy!

Simply listen to Mountain FM each weekday at 7:50am, 10:50, 1:50pm, and 4:50pm for the Trivia.  You have until midnight that day to enter the Trivia to see if you are an instant winner and earn 250 Points. 

Access to the The Gold Mine is through the home page of Mountain FM located at http://www.mountainfm.com/. Once registered and logged on to The Gold Mine, you can visit the The Gold Mine, Enter to Win, Trivia, and Bonus Code pages that display prize offers and The Gold Mine Point opportunities directly.

You must register by setting up a username and password in order to earn and spend Points, view your account balance, and see special offers for members only. You can access this information on the main page at http://www.mountainfm.com/.

Once validated as a The Gold Mine member, all you need to do is enter your username and password to gain access to The Gold Mine features. You will be able to update your registration information as needed, as well as change your password. Profile updates and password changes have no effect on your Points account. Your Point balances will always remain tied to your username.

Points

The accumulation of Points gives you opportunities to win your share of the hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes, cash, and discounts offered throughout the year on Mountain FM. There are many ways for you to earn Points, as outlined below.

1. Trivia

   Each weekday, Monday through Friday at 7:50 am, 10:50 am, 1:50 pm and 4:50 pm Mountain FM will announce the Trivia. Trivia are only announced at these times.

   Visit The Gold Mine at http://www.mountainfm.com/, login to The Gold Mine - go to "Earn Points and click on Trivia. Pick the correct time and Trivia as announced on Mountain FM then click on submit. (Once you click the Submit button you will not be allowed to make another entry for that time).

   You have until midnight that night to play Trivia to earn Points.

2. Ways to earn extra Points
   1. Events

      From time to time, Mountain FM will announce special events or display them on the The Gold Mine website where Mountain FM will give away Bonus Codes for Points. Logon to the The Gold Mine site and go to the Bonus Code Event section to see locations on where you can earn more Points. Once you have a The Gold Mine Bonus Code - visit http://www.mountainfm.com/, login to The Gold Mine - go to "Earn Points" and click on "Bonus Code". Enter the Bonus Code to earn more Points.

   2. Partner Extra Credit

      Mountain FM will regularly post Bonus Codes on various station advertiser pages throughout our web site at http://www.mountainfm.com/. When you visit these sites you will be given The Gold Mine Bonus Codes for a specified number of Points.

YOUR The Gold Mine 

As a The Gold Mine member, your The Gold Mine Points earned accumulate in your Points Account. To check your current balance of The Gold Mine Points, login to The Gold Mine and click on "My Account".

Points VALUE

Through the accumulation of Points you earn the opportunity to reap additional rewards! Here's how you can use them towards prizes, cash, discounts, opportunities and adventures.

1. Prize Purchase

   Mountain FM offers unique prizes and discounts on products, services and events in exchange for Points. To use your Points towards purchasing an item, simply enter the quantity you wish to purchase and click "Buy". If you have sufficient Points and haven't already bought your limit (if any), your purchase will be confirmed and a confirmation page will appear with instructions for claiming your prize or discount. Once you click the "Buy" button, if the transaction is successful, the Point amount will be deducted from your The Gold Mine Account and cannot be returned.

2. Enter to Win

   Periodically, Mountain FM will offer incredible prize packages, trips, concert tickets, backstage passes, cars, and much, much more in exchange for Points. Some of these offers will be found on the web site, some will be announced on air. Along with each offer, The Gold Mine members will be given instruction on how to spend their Points for chances to win. All winning will be subject to verification. For sweepstakes, Points will be deducted as bid, and the Points will serve as sweepstakes drawing entries.

3. Award Level Bids

   Periodically, Mountain FM will offer prizes based on the first person(s) to offer a designated level of Points. For example, X number of concert tickets may be offered to the first person(s) that wants to claim them for 10,000 Points each. The manner, in which these Points may be bid, will be displayed or announced along with the prize offered.
