You must register by setting up a username and password in order to earn and redeem Platinum Points, view your account balance, and see special offers for members only. You can access this information on the main page at http://www.lite96.ca/.  LITE 96 is collecting personal data about members for the sole purpose of administering the LITE 96 Platinum VIP Club.  No further informational or marketing communications will be received by the member unless the member provides LITE 96 with explicit permission to do so.  Please see our Privacy Policy at http://www.rogers.com/ for full information on LITE 96's policy towards maintaining the privacy and security of user information.

Once validated as a Platinum VIP Club member, all you need to do is enter your username and password to gain access to Platinum VIP Club features. You will be able to update your registration information as needed, as well as change your password. Profile updates and password changes have no effect on your Platinum Points account. Your Platinum Point balances will always remain tied to your username.

Once registered and logged on to Platinum VIP Club, you can visit the "Go Shopping", "Enter To Win", "Songs Of The Day", "Bonus Code", and the "Event" pages that display prize offers and Platinum VIP Club Platinum Point opportunities directly.

PLATINUM POINTS
The accumulation of Platinum Points gives you opportunities to win your share of the hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes, cash, and discounts offered throughout the year on LITE 96. There are many ways for you to earn Platinum Points, as outlined below.

1. Songs Of The Day

Simply listen to LITE 96 each weekday at 7:45am, 12:45pm, 3:45pm and 5:45pm for the LITE 96 Songs of the Day.  You have until midnight that day to enter the LITE 96 Songs to earn between 250 Platinum Points. 

Access to the LITE 96 Platinum VIP Club is through the home page of LITE 96's website located at http://www.lite96.ca/.

Visit LITE 96 Platinum VIP Club at http://www.lite96.ca/, login to Platinum VIP Club - go to "Earn Points"and click on Songs Of The Day. Pick the correct time and Song Of The Day as announced on LITE 96 then click on submit. (Once you click the Submit button you will not be allowed to make another entry for LITE 96 Song of the Day on that date and time).

You have until midnight that night to play Songs Of The Day to earn Platinum Points.

2. WAYS TO EARN EXTRA PLATINUM POINTS  

1. Events

 

From time to time, LITE 96 will announce special events or display them on the Platinum VIP Club website where LITE 96 will give away Bonus Codes for Platinum Points. Logon to the Platinum VIP Club site and go to the Bonus Code Event section to see locations on where you can earn more Platinum Points.

Once you have a Platinum VIP Club Bonus Code - visit http://www.lite96.ca/, login to Platinum VIP Club - go to "Earn Points" and click on "Bonus Code". Enter the Bonus Code to earn more Platinum Points.

 

2. Advertiser Extra Credit

 

LITE 96 will regularly post Bonus Codes on various station advertiser pages throughout our web site at http://www.lite96.ca/. When you visit these sites you will be given Platinum VIP Club Bonus Codes for a specified number of Platinum Points.

YOUR PLATINUM VIP CLUB 

As a Platinum VIP Club member, your Platinum VIP Club Platinum Points earned accumulate in your Platinum Points Account. To check your current balance of Platinum VIP Club Platinum Points, login to LITE 96 Platinum VIP Club and click on "My Account".

PLATINUM POINTS VALUE

Through the accumulation of Platinum Points you earn the opportunity to reap additional rewards! Here's how you can use them towards prizes, cash, discounts, opportunities and adventures.

1. Redeeming Platinum Points

LITE 96 offers unique prizes and discounts on products, services and events in exchange for Platinum Points. To use your Platinum Points towards an item, simply enter the quantity you wish to redeem and click "Redeem". If you have sufficient Platinum Points and haven't already redeemed your limit (if any), your redemption will be confirmed and a confirmation page will appear with instructions for claiming your prize or discount. Once you click the "Redeem" button, if the transaction is successful, the Platinum Point amount will be deducted from your Platinum VIP Club Account and cannot be returned.

2. Raffles and Contests

Periodically, LITE 96 will offer incredible prize packages, trips, concert tickets, backstage passes, cars, and much, much more in exchange for Platinum Points. Some of these offers will be found on the web site, some will be announced on air. Along with each offer, Platinum VIP Club members will be given instruction on how to spend their Platinum Points for chances to win. All winners will be subject to verification. For contests, Platinum Points will be deducted as bid, and the Platinum Points will serve as the contest entry.

3. Award Level Bids

Periodically, LITE 96 will offer prizes based on the first person to offer a designated level of Platinum Points. For example, X number of concert tickets may be offered to the first person that wants to claim them for 10,000 Platinum Points each.  The sole determinant of time for the purposes of determining the first person eligible will be the LITE 96 server machine(s).The manner in which these Platinum Points may be bid will be displayed or announced along with the prize offered.
