CONTEST RULES
"EZ Rock’s Flight 100: Sandals Bahamas 2010"
 
1. (a) “Contest Period” starts on October 2, 2009 at 8:15am up until 11:59 pm on January 4, 2010, the “Contest Closing Date” No Purchase necessary.  All times are Eastern Times. This Contest is sponsored by Rogers Broadcasting Limited (“Rogers”) as represented by 100.5 EZ Rock, hereinafter referred to as “100.5 EZ Rock”. Enter one (1) of the following three (3) ways:
I. Listen to 105.3 EZ Rock during the Contest Period from 5:30am to 6:00pm Mondays to Fridays (excluding Monday, October 12th) for the cue to call and be the 4th, 5th and 6th caller to the 100.5 EZ Rock Contest Line (705-759-1005) for one ballot into the draw. 
If the telephone line is dead when answered by a representative of 100.5 EZ Rock, or no audible response is heard, or no one responds after 5 seconds, 100.5 EZ Rock will answer the next call in sequence and the next call in sequence will replace that call.  In the event a call is cut off before all personal data is collected,  100.5 EZ Rock will make its best efforts to make contact with the cut-off caller, provided enough personal information was gathered in order to correctly identify the cut-off caller.  In the event two or more calls come through on the same line, all such callers will be advised to hang up and try again and the next call in sequence will replace that call.  Collect telephone calls are accepted.  If a selected entrant cannot be qualified using the information provided at the time of entry, the next caller in sequence will have a chance to qualify.
I. Listen to 100.5 FM EZ Rock each day (Monday to Sunday) during the Contest Period, for the daily EZ Rock Flight 100 Bonus Code.  Enter the Bonus Code into your EZ Rock Platinum VIP Club member account by the Contest Closing Date, (non-EZ Rock Platinum VIP Club members must log-on to www.ezrocksoo.com, sign up for EZ Rock Platinum VIP Club status and then enter the EZ Rock Flight 100 Bonus Code) before midnight each day for an entry into the Contest, or if you are not a EZ Rock Platinum VIP Club member join for free, and enter the EZ Rock Flight 100 Bonus Code for an entry into the Contest. 
II. Log onto your EZ Rock Platinum VIP Club account and redeem 1000 Platinum Club points for an entry into the Contest, to be submitted by the Contest Closing Date.
      (b) Random draws, by Rogers ("Rogers") representative, will be made as indicated below from all the eligible entries received as of 7 am each Draw Date, at Rogers' office at 642 Great Northern Road, Ontario.  Non selected entries will be carried forward to the next Draw Date.  When the selected entrant’s name is announced the entrant will then have ten (10) minutes from the time of the announcement to call the Contest line (705-759-1005) at CHAS (EZ Rock 100.5FM SSault Ste. Marie) in order to be eligible to win the Grand Prize. If the selected entrant does not call the Contest line within ten (10) minutes from the time of the announcement the Rogers representative will do another random draw from all the remaining eligible entries received and that entrant will also have ten (10) minutes from the time of the announcement to call the Contest line (705-759-1005) at CHAS (EZ Rock 100.5 FM Sault Ste. Marie) to be eligible to win the Grand prize.  The random draws will continue as above until an official winner is declared.

 If a selected entrant cannot be qualified using the information provided at the time of entry within 5 business days or declines the prize it will be forfeited.
 (e)   In the event that a selected entrant incorrectly answers the skill testing question, fails to return the signed release and acknowledgment as specified below the prize  will be forfeited.
 (f) Entrants may enter as many times as they like provided they use one of the above methods.  Entrant or any persons residing in their respective households [1] and any immediate family members [2] may not have won any other EZ Rock Flight 100 prize within the last year.   If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant.  The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder.  A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry.   All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).
2. No purchase, expenditure or investment is necessary to enter this Contest.

October 30, 2009 A return economy flight for two (2 adults) from Toronto, Ontario to Nassau, Bahamas (departing January 10, 2010, returning January 17, 2010 [may be subject to change], connecting flights from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to Toronto, Ontario (travel dates to be determined), return transfers from the airport to the resort, seven (7) nights accommodation at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island  based upon double occupancy (included at the resort: all meals including anytime snacks and unlimited beverages, nightly entertainment, all water and land sports, all government hotel taxes and tips). $5000

January 15, 2010 A return economy flight for two (2 adults) from Toronto, Ontario to Nassau, Bahamas (winner chooses departure dates subject to change and must be taken within six (6) months), return transfers from the airport to the resort, seven (7) nights accommodation at Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island in Nassau, Bahamas based upon double occupancy (included at the resort: all meals including anytime snacks and unlimited beverages, nightly entertainment, all water and land sports, all government hotel taxes and tips).  Please note:  Prize trip is based on space availability and confirmation of travel dates will only be provided 30 days prior to the departure date. $5000

** An adult is anyone 18 years of age or older, both the winner and the travel companion must be 18 years of age or older. Winners and traveling companions must travel together on the same itinerary.
Only those items listed above are included in the Grand Prizes.  Winners and traveling companions are responsible for a $25 US per person per night Sandals processing fee ($350 US), accommodation in Toronto if required, meals, beverages, room service, gratuities, merchandise, telephone calls, communication charges, insurance together with any required travel documentation (such as passports and visas if required), and all personal expenses of any kind or nature, together with any applicable overnight layover. Airline routing is at the discretion of the airline. Any additional expenses incurred for special requests for airline, air-routing, air-seating will be at the expense of the winners and/or travel companions.  Any requests to changes are subject to approval.  Winners and traveling companions are responsible for ensuring they have all the necessary travel documents and Rogers is not responsible in the event the winners and/or traveling companions are denied entry into the Country of destination or re-entry into Canada and any unused portion of the Grand Prize will be forfeit.
4. All prizes must be accepted as awarded.  Sandals Resorts reserves the right to relocate any  processed prizewinner from their hotel of choice to an alternate resort within the chain or to alternate  dates, based on availability of space.  Rogers reserves the right to substitute a prize of at least equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.
5. In order to win, selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill testing question, posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time.  Rogers judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the Contest and the awarding of prizes.
6. Entrants and will be required to return a signed release and acknowledgment form before being declared a winner. Traveling companions must also return a signed release and acknowledgement form before being ticketed, once ticketed no changes will be permitted.
7. By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, and city of residence and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Rogers and/or its advertising agencies, without further compensation.  Winners consent to their photograph being taken by Rogers for such use, without further compensation.   All entries become the property of Rogers.
8. This Contest is open to all residents of the City of Sault Ste  Marie living within a 170 km radius of the 100.5 FM EZ Rock (CHAS) studios at 642 Great Northern Road, ON according to http://ca.maps.yahoo.com/, 18 years of age and older, as of the date of entry, except employees of Rogers, its parent and affiliate companies; its representatives and agents, the Contest suppliers, any persons residing in their respective households [1] and any immediate family members [2].  The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
9. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants. 
10. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received, and the number of callers who called during the Contest Period.  Rogers is unaware of how many entrants there may be.  The winners may come from any geographic area, so long as they otherwise qualify to enter the Contest.
11. All entries which are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Rogers.  Rogers takes no responsibility for lost, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.
12. All entries become property of Rogers who assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the website during the Contest Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the Contest.  Rogers reserve the right, in their sole discretion; to cancel or suspend the email portion of this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Rogers corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Rogers reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
13. Rogers is collecting personal data about entrants for the sole purpose of administering this Contest.  No further informational or marketing communications will be received by the entrant unless the entrant provides Rogers with explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form.  Please see our Privacy Policy at www.rogers.com for full information on the company’s policy towards maintaining the privacy and security of user information.
14. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Rogers.  Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the Contest.
15. The terms of this Contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.

[1] Household is defined as a separate, self-contained residence which has a unique municipal address.   Proof may be required to be provided to ensure compliance with this rule.   Rogers in its sole discretion will determine whether a household meets this condition.

[2] Immediate family members are defined as parent(s) (including step parents), spouse (including common law and same sex), spouse of the father or mother (including common law and same sex), father-in-law (including common law and same sex), mother-in-law (including common law and same sex), brother (including step brother and brother-in-law), sister (including step sister and sister-in-law), children (including adopted and stepchildren) and grandparents.

"EZ Rock PLATINUM VIP CLUB Win Watcha Want – Christmas Edition"

 1. (a) “Contest Period” starts 12:01 pm on October 31, 2009 up until 11:59 pm on December 10, 2009 the “Contest Closing Date” to enter, visit www.ezrocksoo.com and sign up as an EZ Rock Platinum VIP Club member, by fully completing the sign up information and redeem 1000 Platinum VIP Club Points and submit before the Contest Closing Date for an entry into the Contest. If you are already a member of the EZ Rock Platinum VIP Club, log onto your account and redeem 1000 Platinum VIP Club Points for an entry into the Contest.  All times are Eastern Times. 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter this Contest without redeeming 1000 Platinum VIP Club Points, during the Contest Period, please hand print your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, email address, age, Contest name for which you are entering for a chance to win, and a hand written 100 word letter explaining your selected “Win Watcha Want – Christmas Edition” and mail it to EZ Rock 642 Great Northern Rd., Sault Ste. Marie, ON  P6B 4Z9  Attn:  Win Watcha Want – Christmas Edition.  You will receive one (1) entry into the Contest during the entry period for which your request was postmarked and received, to be postmarked by the Contest Closing Date. Limit of one (1) mail-in request per postage stamped envelope per day.

(b) A random draw, by a Rogers Broadcasting Limited ("Rogers") representative , from all completed entries received as of the Contest Closing date will be made on December 14th, 2009 at approximately 7am at EZ Rock 642 Great Northern Rd., Sault Ste. Marie, ON  P6B 4Z9 . Selected entrant will be contacted via telephone number or email as indicated on the selected entrants EZ Rock Platinum VIP Club member account/mail in entry.

(c) If a selected entrant cannot be reached by December 24th, 2009 or declines the prize another entrant will be chosen to replace that winner.

(d) In the event that a selected entrant incorrectly answers the skill testing question, or fails to return the singed release and acknowledgment as specified below, no other name will be drawn.

(e) Participants will be eligible to win their choice of one (1) Grand Prize from the following prizes:
