Welcome to the 680News Insider Club, a free on air/web based interactive promotional program designed to honour and reward our loyal 680News listeners.

As a member of the 680News Insider Club you'll have a chance to win some fabulous prizes, provide feedback on issues of the day, sign up for breaking news, newsletters and listen to exclusive on line content.

You must register by setting up a username and password in order to earn and redeem Credits, view your account balance, and see special offers for members only. You can access this information on the main page at www.680news.com.

Once validated as a 680News Insider Club member, all you need to do is enter your username and password to gain access to 680News Insider Club features. You will be able to update your registration information as needed, as well as change your password. Profile updates and password changes have no effect on your Credits account. Your Credit balances will always remain tied to your username.

EARN CREDITS

The accumulation of Credits gives you opportunities to win your share of the hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes, cash, and discounts offered throughout the year on 680News. There are many ways for you to earn Credits, as outlined below.

1. Signing up.

Just for signing up you'll automatically receive 680 Credits.

2. Roving Web Reporter, Mike Flash

Beginning November 23, 2009 each weekday, Monday through Sunday at 7:10 a.m., 12:10 p.m., 5:10 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. we’ll announce where to find Mike Flash on the 680News website. Mike will have a bonus code just for Insider Club members. Visit the specific page on 680news.com as outlined in the promotional annoucements each day and find the Mike Flash character with the daily bonus code.

Every day you correctly enter the code in the 680 News Insider club, you’ll receive 250 credits and be eligible for the daily prize (if applicable) and/or weekly prize (if applicable). Mike will visit a different part of the 680News website every day with a different bonus code every day. Visit 680News Insider Club at www.680news.com, login to 680News Insider Club - go to "Earn Credits" and click on "Mike Flash". Enter the correct daily bonus code as indicated, then click on submit.

Every time you're correct you'll earn other 250 Credits and you will be automatically entered into the draw for the daily and/or weekly prize as indicated.

You have until 7:09 a.m. the next day, to play The Roving Web Reporter, Mike Flash contest, to earn Credits. (Note you can only enter once per day).

One person randomly drawn from those who participants who correctly entered the bonus code in the roving web reporter, Mike Flash contest each day will be eligible to win a daily prize. If there is a weekly prize, an individual will be draw from each daily draw, and one person from those individuals will be drawn and deemed the winner.

Selected winners will be notified by 680News promotional staff by email or telephone the week following. If the selected entrant cannot be reached within 5 business days, another entrant will be drawn.

If the selected entrant does not correctly answer the skill-testing question or does not accept the prize as awarded, another entrant will be drawn.

No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants.

3. Daily Polls

Make your vote count in our daily polls. Every time you vote you'll receive 68 Credits.

4. 680News Insider Club Questionnaire

Occasionally 680News will ask you to fill out a questionnaire. The questionnaire might ask you about the station and how we can improve our product. If you fill it out, you'll be given Credits.

5. Events

From time to time, 680News will announce special events or display them on the 680News Insider Club Web site where 680News will give away Bonus Codes for Credits. Logon to the 680News Insider Club site and go to the Bonus Code Event section to see how and where you can earn more Credits.

Once you have a 680News Insider Club Bonus Code - visit www.680news.com, login to 680News Insider Club - go to "Earn Credits" and click on "Bonus Code." Enter the Bonus Code to earn more Credits.

6. Partner Extra Credit

680News will occasionally post Bonus Codes on various station advertiser pages throughout our Web site at www.680news.com. When you visit these sites you will be given 680News Insider Club Bonus Codes for a specified number of Credits.

Your 680News Insider Club

As a 680News Insider Club member, your 680News Insider Club Credits earned accumulate in your Credits Account. To check your current balance of 680News Insider Club Credits, login to 680News Insider Club and click on "My Account."

REDEEM CREDITS

By accumulating Credits you earn the opportunity to reap rewards!

Here's how you can use them towards prizes, cash, discounts, opportunities and adventures.

1. Weather Guarantee

To enter the Weather Guarantee simply redeem the required number of Credits for each entry. Enter as often as you like. However, remember all entries will be cleared out after each draw.

2. Contests

Every week 680News will offer wonderful prizes. Just check to see how many Credits each entry requires. You can enter as often as you like provided you redeem the required number of Credits.
