The more you listen to The FAN 960, the more Points you earn to get more stuff! Yep, listening = stuff... pretty easy, don't you think?
Just listen to The FAN 960 each weekday (except holidays - we don't do holidays) at 7:25am, 9:25am, 1:25pm, 4:25pm, and 9:25pm for the Secret Seat number. You have until midnight that day to log into the FAN club and enter the Secret Seat number to grab 100 points.
The "secret portal" to the FAN Club is through http://www.fan960.com - like you weren't already headed there...
Once you fill in the mundane (but oh so fulfilling) registration form and then log in to FAN Club, you can check out the Garage Sale, Draw, Secret Seat, Bonus Code, and the Event pages that show you what you can get and how you can spend more time with your beloved station.
You must register by setting up a username and password (yeah another one) in order to earn and spend Points, see your account balance (it's better than checking your credit card balance), and see special offers for our super-dudes and dudettes only. You can get this information on the main page at http://www.fan960.com.
Once we accept you into the cone of silence (or "validate" you) as a FAN Club member, all you need to do is enter your username and password to get into FAN Club stuff. You'll be able to update your info when, well, it's different, and change your password when you fall in love with the next supermodel-to-be. Profile updates and password changes have no effect on your Points account. Your Point balances will always be tied to your username - like that story that we heard about you in college. You know the one.
Points
Getting Points gives you your shot at winning your share of the hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes, cash, and discounts offered throughout the year on The FAN 960. HAHAHAHA - oh sorry, couldn't quite write that without giggling a little... There's a bunch of ways for you to get more Points, like:
- Secret Seat
Each weekday, Monday through Friday (except holidays - we've already been through this) at various times The FAN 960 will announce the Secret Seat. Secret Seats are only announced at these times. Don't call us and ask us to tell you "just this once." We can tell you something, it just won't be the right thing. Just listen.
Visit FAN Club at http://www.fan960.com, login to FAN Club - go to "Earn Points"
and click on Secret Seat. Pick the correct time and Secret Seat as announced on The FAN 960 then click on submit. (Once you click the Submit button you will not be allowed to make another entry, so jeez louise, don't be one of those random clickers or you're screwed).
You have until midnight that night to play Secret Seat to earn Points.

Once in a while when we feel like it, The FAN 960 will announce special events or display them on the FAN Club website where The FAN 960 will give away Bonus Codes for Points. Logon to the FAN Club site and go to the Bonus Code Event section to see locations on where you can earn more Points - but so you know, sometimes you have to come see us and we promise Rob doesn't bite... anymore...
Once you have a FAN Club Bonus Code - head to http://www.fan960.com, login to FAN Club - go to "Earn Points" and click on "Bonus Code". Enter the Bonus Code to earn more Points. But yes, you actually have to type in your code. Stop whining, it is not hard.
- Partner Extra Credit
The FAN 960 will regularly post Bonus Codes on various station advertiser pages throughout our web site at http://www.fan960.com. When you visit these sites you will be given FAN Club Bonus Codes for a specified number of Points. Like a treasure hunt without the pirates or parrots.
YOUR FAN Club As a FAN Club member, as one of our close buddies, as our little petit-chou, your Points earned accumulate in your Points Account. To find out how many FAN Club Points you've got, login to FAN Club and click on "My Account". And now that we're so close, could you help us move and drive us to the airport? Points VALUE By the hoarding of Points you can earn the chance at at more rewards! Here's the simplest explanation we could think of because we want you use them to get prizes, cash, discounts, opportunities and adventures. And because we know you get distracted easily by shiny things. Prize Purchase The FAN 960 offers some pretty cool stuff - unique prizes and discounts on products, services and events - and in exchange for Points, we give them to you. To use your Points towards buying something, just enter the how many you want to purchase and click "Buy". If you have enough Points and haven't already bought your limit (if any), your purchase will be confirmed and a confirmation page will appear with instructions for claiming your prize or discount. Once you click the "Buy" button, if the transaction is successful, the Point amount will be deducted from your FAN Club Account and cannot be returned. As in no refunds. Nada. Zip. Zilch. The big ol' goose egg. And don't cry - we're not your Mom. It won't work. Draws and Sweepstakes Sometimes when the mood strikes, The FAN 960 will offer incredible prize packages, trips, concert tickets, backstage passes, cars, and other stuff we think rocks the casbah in exchange for some Points. Some of these offers will be found on the web site, some will be announced on air. With each offer, FAN Club we'll lead you by nose and give you instructions on how to spend Points for chances to win. Lawyer speak: All winning will be subject to verification. For sweepstakes, Points will be deducted as bid, and the Points will serve as sweepstakes drawing entries. AWARD LEVEL BIDS Because sometimes we like to shake things up, The FAN 960 will offer prizes based on the first person(s) to offer a designated level of Points. For example, X number of concert tickets may be offered to the first person(s) that wants to claim them for 10,000 Points each. The manner, in which these Points may be bid, will be displayed or announced along with the prize offered.
