FAQs

Why does my account status say "pending"?
After you register, your account status will remain "pending" until your email address is verified. Your email address is verified and your account validated once you click on the link in the email you receive from us. (This email will come from cfac@m2omedia.com.) You can still earn Points while you are waiting for your account to be validated. You will not, however, be able to claim any prizes or purchase raffle entries until your account status is valid.

I did not receive an email asking me to validate my account. What should I do?
If you did not receive an email from us and your account is still pending, please follow these instructions:

  • Open your internet browser and log on to your account
  • Click on this link or copy and paste this link into the browser that you opened to log into your account: http://www.m2omedia.com/cfac/members/account/pending.jsp
  • This will bring you to a page with instructions on how to validate your account

In order to ensure that you receive emails from us in the future, please add cfac@m2omedia.com to your contact list.

How do I earn Points?
Go to the Sportsnet 960 The FAN website and click on the FAN CLUB link. Enter your username and password in the login box on the left hand side of the page. Once you've logged in, click on one of the categories under Earn Points, located on the menu bar near the top of the page.

How do I use my Points to earn Rewards? There are two ways to earn rewards with your Points. You can redeem Points for goods and services that are offered on the Garage Sale page or you can redeem Points for entries into our Draw Drawings. To access either the Garage Sale or Draw page, log in and click on one of the categories under Spend Points, located on the menu bar near the top of the page.

So, I hear that Rick Lafitte is actually Superman.  Is that true?
So Rick's got dark hair and Superman has dark hair, and Rick has glasses and "Clark Kent" has glasses, and Rick sometimes hangs out in phone booths and owns a cape and is in journalism... you decide.

Garage Sale: All prizes on the Garage Sale page are on a first come, first serve basis. The FAN CLUB Garage Sale Page lists all of the available prizes and their associated Point value. Once you have earned enough Points to "purchase" the prize of your choice you may "buy" the prize by logging in and visiting the Garage Sale Page. Then just enter the quantity of the prize you want (please note, some prizes may have a quantity limit of 1 per member), and click "Buy". If you have enough Points, haven't exceeded the purchase limit, and inventory is sufficient, a page will come up which confirms your purchase and provides you with instructions on how to claim your prize. IMPORTANT NOTE: upon making a prize purchase, be sure to print off a copy of your confirmation page.

Remember, the more entries you have, the better your chances of winning!

I've purchased a prize, how to I claim it?
To claim your prize, follow the instructions on the confirmation page.
